For songs with beat switches, multiple BPMs can be indicated, by putting the number of milliseconds in each tempo starts, then indicating the tempo. This will make the looping function more on beat with the music, so looping a measure actually loops a measure.
#YEEZY MP3 PLAYER UPDATE#
If you know the BPM you can update it to be more accurate, and add the number of milliseconds in the song starts. In the BPM field, every song defaults to starting at 0 milliseconds, and for songs uploaded, the splitter takes a guess at the BPM. Here, BPM can be adjusted, as well as the hexcode for the colors of the LEDs for each track. Inside each song's folder is a track config file. Within the album folders, each track is in a folder called T1, T2, T3, etc. At the very least save a copy of it before editing) The config file can be used to adjust some settings, such as speed multiplier for each speed setting, how far the scan button skips each interval, etc (If you aren't familiar with the layout of this file, don't mess around with it, apparently people have bricked their devices by accident.

In the ALBUM.txt file, the names of each track can be changed. A1 is the new unreleased Donda tracks, (LOTP, UFTA, NAYF) A2 is Donda, and A3 is any songs uploaded by the user. The file system organization is pretty simple, each 'Album' is contained within A1, A2, and A3. Double-Clicking in the bottom right corner of the Stem Player website while in the upload screen will reveal Battery percentage, Storage usage, a factory reset option, and access to the Manage screen. When the device is running out of battery, it will blink green briefly before dying.

4 lights means full battery, 3 means 3/4 batter, etc. To check the battery level, when unplugging the stem player, green lights appear. While isolating one stem, pressing the power button will lock that isolation in, automatically muting all other stems after releasing the isolated stem. While isolating one stem, touching anywhere on the other 3 stems sliders also isolates that stem. While doing an 'Instant Loop' by holding down the center button, hit the power button at the same time to convert it to a regular loop, so you don't have to keep holding the center button Same works for holding previous song and skipping back one second. Holding down the 'Next Song' button while playing a song skips forward 1 second. I didn't discover this, but accessing the files on the device can be done by plugging it in while its off, then holding down the Power button and Play/Pause center button while plugged in. The Donda Stem Player is available for preorder from Kanye's website, it's currently unclear on when it will be shipping been using my stem player for a couple days, and there's a couple functions that aren't marked at all in the documentation included that I've found very helpful:
